Falley’s Inc., the Topeka, Kan., company that operates Food 4 Less warehouse stores and licenses the name to operators in 16 states, is being sold to FFL Holdings, a Yucaipa-based operation formed by the principals of Yucaipa Capital and the Vista Group. A spokesman for FFL Holdings said the company is considering sites in the Southland for Food 4 Less stores to be built once the merger is completed, probably in early May. Yucaipa Capital recently completed the acquisition of Jurgensen’s, a Southern California chain of gourmet food stores.
