Former financial consultant Stephen Harrison Henry, 42, pleaded no contest to 10 counts of grand theft in an investment scheme in which he allegedly bilked 36 clients out of $4.5 million. Henry, a former partner with the Los Angeles financial consulting firm of Henry-Evans & Pierce, had been accused of using investment money solicited from doctors and dentists to finance gambling sprees. Deputy Dist. Atty. Frederick G. Stewart said Henry, who is scheduled to be sentenced in Los Angeles Superior Court on May 5, faces a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison.
