One of television’s more offbeat spy-guy teams--”I Spy’s” Robert Culp and Bill Cosby--returns to the small screen tonight after a 20-year absence. Culp will make a guest appearance on the Cos’ NBC series “The Cosby Show” as Scott Kelly, an old friend of Cliff Huxtable (Cosby). But it didn’t come easy: Culp, who hadn’t done comedy before a live audience in 30 years, said: “My timing was horrible. I was stepping on my laughs. But the kids on the show, they never missed a beat. Bill covered me like a blanket.”
