Steve Sanders, the guitarist in the band that backs up the Oak Ridge Boys, will probably replace the group’s recently fired member William Lee Golden, the Oaks’ Duane Allen said Wednesday. “Steve is probably the most likely candidate because he already knows our material,” Allen said. “If there’s an inside track, he’s got it.” Sanders, 34, has played rhythm guitar in the Oaks’ backup band for five years.
