Four men robbed two women Thursday and fled with cash and jewelry after tying up the victims, Fullerton authorities said.

Two of the robbers entered the Fullerton home through a rear sliding glass door, Police Sgt. Jeffrey Roop said Thursday.

The incident occurred about 9:30 a.m. in an apartment building in the 400 block of West Baker Avenue, Roop said, adding that at least one robber had a pistol.

“While one man knocked on the front door, two others climbed over a carport and entered through a sliding glass door in the rear,” Roop said.

The robbers then tied up both women. The amount stolen was not immediately known, he said.

The victims described three of the robbers as young adults. Two were estimated to be 18 to 20 years of age, while the third is about 22, the women told police. They said the fourth is about 40.
