Two young guerrillas in school uniforms opened fire with a submachine gun and a pistol inside a restaurant in Lima, killing two army officers and two civilians before getting away, a Peruvian government spokesman said. The wounded included two more officers and two civilians, added the spokesman for the Division of Anti-Terrorist Police. An Interior Ministry official, who asked not to be identified, blamed the attack on the Sendero Luminoso, or Shining Path, guerrilla group that has been fighting since 1980 to overthrow Peru’s elected governments.
