Where Has Male Chivalry Gone?

The reason why chivalry has gone down the drain is because it should. Those days are gone and should be gone. People should be civil, polite and helpful to each other as people and not according to their sex.

I don’t hold doors just for women. I hold them for anyone who is behind me. We don’t need the old chivalry, but we do need common courtesy in public. With a little concern, bus rides and other crowded public situations would be a lot less stressful.

But as for only men doing this, that’s step backwards.
