Thanks to a new car stereo, soap-opera fans can now follow “Days of Our Lives,” “General Hospital” and other sudsers while they’re in the car. The Taiwan-based Proton Corp. has introduced the 203T AM-FM-cassette car stereo, which it claims is the first to include the audio for VHF television channels 2 to 13. It is aimed not only at soap-opera addicts but those who don’t want to miss sports events and their favorite TV talk shows.
