Dr. Elliot Gross’ report, released Wednesday, said that “notes and recordings in Mr. Warhol’s chart do not adequately reflect his clinical status” during the hours before his death Feb. 22 at New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center. The report was released amid charges by the state Department of Health accusing New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center of being deficient in the medical and nursing care it gave Warhol. A spokeswoman for District Attorney Robert Morgenthau’s office said a review of the autopsy is under way.
