An East Los Angeles nightclub for teen-agers has been ordered closed for violating a February Superior Court order that, among other things, required operators to check the identification of all patrons before selling them alcoholic drinks. Under the order by Superior Court Judge Jerry Fields, the Don Quixotes East club, which had been open four nights a week, will close immediately. Deputy City Atty. Pamela Albers said the closure request was made after Los Angeles police visited the club last month and found owner Salvador Quezada “trying to get around” the provisions of the court order. Quezada’s attorney said he will ask the judge to reconsider.
