Share

It is very unfortunate to see creative Jewish people in the industry suddenly forget who they are and where they came from after they discover success (“Jewishness Goes Back to the Closet on the Screen,” by Donna Perlmutter, April 12).

I believe the same qualities, quirks and idiosyncrasies (inherent to Jewish culture) that give these people their special talents have gone full circle and are now embarrassing them as they slip into their Brooks Bros. suits and Lauren sunglasses.

Every ethnic group has its colors, its upside, its downside. Why hide it? Enjoy it. Share it!
