A 15-year-old boy riding a roller coaster in a crowded Amarillo, Tex., amusement park was thrown from the ride and killed, officials said. Miguel Moreno Perez of Hereford was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident at Wonderland, a privately owned amusement park that has operated since 1951 in a city-owned park. Park Manager Paul Borchardt said the boy apparently was thrown from the Cyclone 210, a 52-foot-tall ride built in 1973, as the car hit a dip.
