Micro D Inc. Reports Profits Up for Quarter

Citing strong sales across its entire product line, Micro D Inc., a Santa Ana distributor of personal computers, software and accessories, reported first-quarter profits of $1.4 million, more than 2 1/2 times the $402,000 recorded a year ago.

Revenues for the period ended March 31 were $81.8 million, nearly twice the $42 million posted last year.
