British Jet Fighter Crashes Into North Sea

LOSSIEMOUTH, Scotland —
A British jet fighter crashed into the North Sea on a training flight, killing the two crewmen aboard, the Royal Air Force said Thursday.
Squadron Leader Norman McLeod, a spokesman at the RAF base at Lossiemouth, said the twin-engine Buccaneer slammed into the sea Wednesday night about 25 miles off the coast of Scotland.
