Businessphones Firm Adds ABI to Its Name

American Businessphones Inc., an Irvine provider of business telephone systems, has changed its name to ABI American Businessphones Inc., the company announced after a special shareholders’ meeting Friday.

The company said shareholders also approved a proposal to reincorporate in Delaware to take advantage of that state’s laws protecting directors from lawsuits.
