‘Animals Are Victims of Slavery’

Share

Carlsen’s view on animal rights is highly philosophical. The Buddhist has for a thousand years or more proclaimed the sin of killing animals. In fact they do not kill “life.” But Carlsen seemed to forget that vegetation are also living beings. So are viruses (including AIDS virus!). They also have “rights” to live.

It seems that we, humans, have to live, such that even at the expense of other life forms, we have to live. Indeed, humans kill others in many ways just to enrich their own lives. If we do not eat, or find a way to maintain our existence, we will be eliminated by other life forms. So to kill is basic--a very horrible thought!
