Work Started on Calabasas Development

Construction has started on Calabasas Commerce Center, a $28.5-million, 280,000-square-foot, mixed-use business and retail development at the Ventura Freeway and Las Virgines Road in Calabasas.

Situated on a 16-acre site, the center will include 220,000 square feet of high-tech research and development office space and more than 60,000 square feet of retail space.

The project is a development of Jaric Development Partners, Los Angeles, and was designed by the architectural firm of Ware & Malcomb, Irvine. Keller Construction Co. of El Monte is the general contractor.
