More than 400 people answered an unusual casting call in San Jose to play extras in a Civil War motion picture. To get a part in Burbank film maker Bobby Davis’ movie “Draw Sabres” the extras have to double as investors, paying $40 up front, then $20 a month for the next 10 months. Said writer/director/producer Davis, 59, who also made “Barbie’s Hospital Affair,” “Dingle Dangle” and “Weekend of Terror”: “It’s the only way I could make a picture this large.” Davis said that he expects “Draw Sabres” to gross $100 million, making each extra $5,000 richer.
