Soviet leader Mikhail S. Gorbachev has expressed concern about an anti-Soviet campaign in France and called for improved relations, the news agency Tass reported. Gorbachev and French Communist Party leader Georges Marchais also said during talks in Moscow that Europe should do more to improve the international climate, Tass added. The comments precede a visit next week by French Premier Jacques Chirac. Relations have been strained since last month when France expelled six Soviets accused of spying. Moscow responded by expelling six French citizens.
