Two additional defendants were charged in a drug conspiracy uncovered in the investigation of the torture-murder in Mexico of U.S. drug agent Enrique Camarena, but prosecutors said they are still not prepared to file murder charges against any of the 10 defendants. The new defendants, Daniel Fowlie and Hector Manuel Lopez, remain at large. A new indictment also alleges conspiracy to distribute marijuana and to conceal at least $2.8 million in narcotics income in Mexican bank accounts and beachfront properties. The 10 suspects are scheduled for trial July 7.
