Laguna Beach : Discussion Set on Plan to Annex South Laguna

City officials and others will conduct a panel discussion on the proposed annexation of South Laguna by Laguna Beach at a meeting Friday night of the North Laguna Community Assn.
Titled “The Anatomy of a Merger,” the program will be held at Unitarian Hall, 429 Cypress St., starting at 7:30 p.m.
Panelists will include Mayor Neil J. Fitzpatrick; Councilman Dan Kenney; Rob Clark, deputy city manager; Jim Danziger, vice chairman of the Annexation Task Force, and Bill Blackburn of the Three Arch Bay Assn.
After the discussion, new officers for the association will be elected.
