VIENNA —
Austrian President Kurt Waldheim will sue Edgar Bronfman for slander after the World Jewish Congress leader accused him of being part of “the Nazi killing machine,” a spokesman said today.

Bronfman, attending a World Jewish Congress meeting in Budapest, told reporters that he will welcome legal action by the former U.N. secretary general and will come to Austria to be sued. “I volunteer to go to Austria,” he said.
