Hammering Away at the Smiths

Why do you think it’s clever or cute to print a sexist article about the ways Jack Smith mistreats Mrs. Smith and then calls himself a feminist (“Sharing the Burden,” April 5)? If Mrs. Smith wants to cook his meals, wash his shirts and do his dishes, so be it. But don’t waste valuable space by telling us how cute that is, and having Mr. Smith pretend to be insightful or “conscious.” Perhaps you should give equal time to a woman who has something insightful to say about the issue.
