Hospital Brawl in Spain

SANTANDER, Spain —
Three patients were injured in a brawl with a doctor on strike at a hospital in this northern Spanish city Monday, witnesses said. They said scuffles broke out when patients staging a sit-in to protest the strike tried to prevent a doctor from leaving. Doctors at Spanish state hospitals are striking for pay raises and higher state spending on public health.
