COMING ATTRACTIONS

Announcements on prime-time schedules for the new fall season at ABC, CBS and NBC are just around the corner. Ratings king NBC will announce its new lineup today, CBS will follow in a day or two and ABC will finish up Monday. NBC is expected to add the fewest shows to its already strong lineup--possibly only four hours--while ABC and CBS have larger holes to plug if they expect to catch the front-runner next season. The networks will preview their new offerings, trot out their stars and rev up the team spirit at their annual affiliates’ conventions at the Century Plaza in the next few weeks, beginning with CBS Monday.
