SELLING ‘REVOLUTION’

Share

How utterly tragic that John Lennon will be remembered by future generations as a shoe salesman.

There’s only one way to protect the integrity of his music and the memory of the man: Boycott any product that prostitutes the music in this way! (I’ve already pitched my two pairs of Nikes in the garbage and replaced them with Reeboks.)

John is no longer here to speak for himself and his music. It’s obvious from her comments that Yoko Ono was never, and is not now, a Beatles fan and has absolutely no understanding or integrity in this matter. Neither does Michael Jackson.

If John Lennon had been a jingle writer during his life, the situation would be different--but “Revolution” was not written to sell shoes.
