Lincoln’s Illinois Home to Be Closed for Repairs

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. —
Abraham Lincoln’s 147-year-old home will be closed to the public beginning next week and will not be open again for several months so workers can repair deteriorated fabric, reinforce beams and install a climate-control system.
