Laser Precision Looks Ahead

Laser Precision Corp. officials told shareholders at the Irvine-based company’s annual meeting that the company expects to achieve $20 million in revenue and an 8% return on sales in 1987.

For 1986, the company reported revenue of $15.9 million sales and net income of $1.3 million.

Gregory A. Miner, vice president and chief financial officer, said the company is expecting moderate sales growth for the first half of 1987 with accelerated growth in the second half. He said that the test equipment manufacturer’s current backlog, as of April 30, was in excess of $2.7 million.

During the meeting, held in Chicago,. the company also announced that Eugene R. White Jr., vice president and manager of Laser Precision’s Radiometric/Fiber Optic division in Utica, N.Y., has been named senior vice president.
