Plane Hit by Lighting Lands in Hong Kong

HONG KONG —
A British Royal Air Force plane made an emergency landing Friday in Hong Kong after being struck by lightning.
The VC-10 plane was hit on its way from the British colony to Katmandu, Nepal, a government official said. The 88 passengers were British servicemen and their families. Nobody was hurt.
