Mission Viejo : Police Seek Clues in Disappearance of Girl

Investigators in Reno have found no clues to the disappearance of a 13-year-old Mission Viejo girl from a hotel casino 10 days ago, a police spokesman in the Nevada city said Sunday.

Police Sgt. Frank Brown said Dorinda Dillow was last seen by her father the night of May 15. The father, who was not identified, told investigators his daughter was playing a video game at the Circus Circus Hotel-Casino when he last saw her.

The father told investigators that his daughter had run away before but has always returned “within two or three days,” Brown said.

“As time goes by, it becomes more critical,” Brown said. “She’s been gone a long time. She was unfamiliar with the city and that concerns us.”

The police officer said flyers with the girl’s picture have been circulated in the Reno area, but no tips have been reported to investigators.

The teen-ager is described as a thin blonde, about 5 feet, 5 inches tall, Brown said.
