The Nation : Haig Reports $3 Million

Former Secretary of State Alexander M. Haig Jr., a Republican presidential aspirant, made more than $3 million in the last two years, he disclosed in a financial statement that federal law requires presidential candidates to file. Haig received $2.7 million from Worldwide Associates, his Washington-based consulting firm, in the two years ended March 31. His clients have included United Technologies Corp., Boeing Corp., Amway and a developer of retirement villages. The consulting firm also collects his lecture and writing fees. He derives other income from his Army pension and investments.
