The joint frequent flier program allows air travelers to earn free trips more quickly than in existing programs. The new program, called “OnePass,” reduces mileage requirements and includes a “MileageSaver” system, allowing passengers who have flown 15,000 miles on Eastern or Continental to receive a free companion ticket in coach anywhere the two carriers fly in the mainland United States. They can also receive a free round-trip coach ticket after 20,000 miles.
