4 French Leftists Charged in Attack

PARIS —
Four leaders of the leftist guerrilla group Direct Action have been charged in connection with the 1985 attempted murder of a senior French Defense Ministry official, judicial officials said Wednesday.
The leaders are Jean-Marc Rouillan, Joelle Aubron, Georges Cipriani and Nathalie Menigon. On June 26, 1985, two shots were fired at the car of of Gen. Henri Blandin in Paris; he survived the attack.
