Hollywood : 3 City Planners Will Be Hired
Three new city planners, including one who will handle Hollywood, will be hired in the next fiscal year, according to Councilman Michael Woo.
Woo, who co-sponsored funding for the planners with Councilman Marvin Braude, said a new is needed to coordinate the Hollywood Community Plan.
“Hollywood is a complex, ever-changing community that requires careful planning to mitigate traffic congestion and to control density,” Woo said.
The other two planners will be assigned to the San Fernando Valley and the local coastal program.
