Malibu : Firm Will Replace Guardrails

The County Board of Supervisors has awarded two contracts totaling $206,469 to Modern Alloys Inc. of Stanton to remove and replace guardrails on Las Flores Canyon Road from Hume Road to Gorge Road, and on Mulholland Highway about 1,800 feet west of Little Sycamore Road. The state will pay part of the cost of the July project, which is part of the Hazard Elimination Safety Program.
Guardrails will also be replaced at several locations on Latigo Canyon Road between Borley and Escondido drives.
