ABC ORDERS EPISODES OF ‘MR. BELVEDERE’
“Mr. Belvedere,” which was not on the fall schedule announced two weeks ago by ABC, will in fact be on the network next season, it was announced Monday.
Thirteen new episodes of the comedy series have been ordered from 20th Century-Fox Television, though a Fox executive said it was still not clear whether “Belvedere” will be seen starting in the fall, or be on standby as a replacement series.
The half-hour comedy debuted March 15, 1985, and recently returned to the ABC lineup after a brief hiatus. It’s current time slot is Fridays at 8:30 p.m. Christopher Hewett stars in the title role, with Bob Uecker and Ilene Graff co-starring.
