La Jolla-based Gascard Club Inc. reported a $4.2-million net loss and said revenue fell 11% to $6.1 million for the fiscal year ended March 31. The company reported a $4.9-million loss a year earlier.

Gascard’s loss “reflected a substantial restructuring of the company’s strategy,” according to President Thomas M. Cannon, who said Gascard has been reducing its dependence upon license fees and building its processing fees.

The company offers fleet fuel management services to commercial and government fleet operators.
