‘Insurance’

Share

“Insurance” is something that, like so many other things in our society today, has changed its meaning and purpose.

I recently had an automobile accident with severe damage to my car. The insurance company informed me that there would be a surcharge added to my already inflated auto insurance, amounting to $400 a year for three years--a total of $1,200 because of this accident.

So where’s the insurance? I, not the insurance company, am paying for the accident. They use their customers’ premiums to produce a healthy financial statement. Just another example of what greed is doing to the American economy and why people are screaming.
