El Nido Honors Jones, Ingels

El Nido Services will honor actress Shirley Jones and her husband, comedian/talent agent Marty Ingels, at a June 24 luncheon at the Hollywood Roosevelt.

A silent art auction at 11 a.m. will precede the noon luncheon and a program titled "Suicidal Children: How Can We Help?" Barry Goldstein, a psychiatrist on the staff of Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, will describe the causes, warning signs and treatment of depression among young people.

El Nido provides counseling and support services to children and families with such problems as child abuse, teen pregnancy, delinquency and family dissolution. Cost of the luncheon is $35. For information and reservations call (213) 651-2780.
