Scripps Heir Dies Aboard Plane

Edward Willis Scripps II, a trustee of the Scripps Howard news organization founded by his grandfather, died today aboard a flight from Hawaii to Australia. He was 58 and the cause of death was not immediately announced.
Scripps died while flying from Honolulu, where he lived, to Sydney, Australia. He was starting out on a fact-finding tour around the Pacific Ocean, Scripps Howard said in a statement.
