Casey Hammer Becomes Bride of Victor Swab

Miss Casey Layne Hammer, daughter of Julian Hammer of Bel-Air and Sue Kane of San Marcos, exchanged marriage vows Sunday with Victor Jeffrey Swab, son of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Vaughan of Tulsa.

The evening ceremony was conducted by Dr. James Lockwood Stewart at Westwood United Methodist Church and was followed by a reception in the Grand Ballroom of the Beverly Wilshire.

The bride, a graduate of Pepperdine University and a fashion merchandiser, is the only granddaughter of Dr. Armand Hammer, chairman and chief executive officer of Occidental Petroleum Corp. Her father is a consulting communications engineer.

The bridegroom, an independent screenwriter, earned a master’s degree in film writing from Stanford University and a bachelor of business administration degree from Vanderbilt University. His father is president of Fortuna Energy Co. in Tulsa.

The couple will reside in Beverly Hills, following a wedding trip to Acapulco.
