Beverly and a Tokyo firm reported a joint venture.

The Pasadena-based nursing-home firm and Tokyo-based Shimizu Construction Co. said seven Japanese insurance and financial services companies have joined them in their joint venture company, Beverly Japan Corp., which was established by Beverly in December, 1985, to develop and manage retirement centers and other services for the elderly in Japan.
