Fisherman Killed as He Saws Bomb to Open It

JAKARTA, Indonesia —
A fisherman was killed and another wounded in northern Sumatra when a 40-year-old bomb they were sawing exploded, Antara news agency reported Wednesday. The 35-year-old fisherman was trying to open the bomb, left over from Indonesia’s independence war against the Dutch in the late 1940s, in order to get the explosive.
