Ex-OCC Pitchers Reinholtz and Goettsch Signed by Angels, Will Play for Salem Club

Two former Orange Coast College baseball players have been signed as free agents by the California Angels.
Eric Reinholtz and Jeff Goettsch, who both played at Loyola Marymount the past two seasons after transferring from OCC, will report to the Angels’ rookie team in Salem, Ore., this weekend.
Reinholtz, a left-handed reliever, was 10-2 in two seasons at Loyola Marymount. He was 3-2 in his two seasons (1984-85) at OCC.
Goettsch, a right-handed starter, was 9-5 in 1986, when Loyola went to the College World Series. He had a sore arm most of this season and was 1-4.
