VIDEORGY: George Michael’s hugely controversial hit, “I Want Your Sex,” was finally scheduled to make its MTV debut Thursday night, but only after several rounds of trims to edit out numerous racy scenes. Michael has also taped an introduction to the clip, where the pop peacock says: “In the past, there were arguments for and against casual sex. Then it was a question of morality. These days it can be a question of life or death. It’s as simple as that. And this song is not about casual sex.” . . . k.d. lang will be at the Palomino Club tomorrow night taping a budget-priced appearance for an upcoming cable series, “Showtime on Stage.” . . . And “The Cutting Edge Happy Hour” makes its debut Thursday at 7:30 p.m. on MTV with an eclectic array of special guests, including Frank Zappa, Ladysmith Black Mambazo, Donnie Osmond, Slayer, Roy Orbison, the Balancing Act and hip-hoppers Mantronix.
