Ratings for “The Late Show” jumped 10% following the departure of comic Joan Rivers as permanent host, Fox Broadcasting Co. reported. The show had a 2.2 national rating for the week of June 8-12, compared to a 2.0 rating for each of the previous three weeks, the company said Friday after the release of A.C. Nielsen Co. figures. Rivers was replaced last month by a series of nightly guest hosts. Comedian Arsenio Hall will host a week of “The Late Show” beginning tonight.

Ratings for Fox Broadcasting Co.’s “The Late Show” did not rise 10% immediately after the departure of host Joan Rivers, as reported in Morning Report on Monday. The program scored a 2.4 national A.C. Nielsen Co. rating in Rivers’ last week on the show (May 11-15), declined to a 2.0 for the next three weeks and rose to a 2.2 the week of June 8-12. One rating point equals 874,000 homes.
