Pertec Peripherals, Computer Firm in Multimillion-Dollar Deal

Pertec Peripherals Corp., based in Chatsworth, has signed a multimillion-dollar contract to supply Modular Computer Systems of Fort Lauderdale with computer hardware. The exact amount of the contract was not announced.

Pertec manufactures tape and disk drives, and memory devices for computer systems. Pertec was acquired last November by Digital Development Corp. of San Diego.
