Datum Given Contract for Remote Control Gear

Datum Inc. said that it has received a $1.8-million contract to manufacture the command/control links for remotely piloted aircraft made by Developmental Sciences Corp. of Ontario, a subsidiary of Lear Siegler Inc.
The work will be carried out at Datum’s AACOM division in Concord.
The subcontract is part of the SKYEYE RPV (Remotely Piloted Vehicle) project being carried out by Developmental Sciences.
Datum Inc., based in Anaheim, makes frequency products and timing instruments for military and commercial uses.
