America’s oldest aviation club honored pilots Dick Rutan and Jeana Yeager who flew the Mojave-based Voyager non-stop around the world in December without refueling. They accepted the prestigious Godfrey Cabot award in Boston from the Aero Club of New England. Previous recipients include helicopter developer Igor Sikorsky, Walter Schirra Jr. and Alan Bean of the Apollo XII crew, retired Sen. Barry Goldwater (R-Ariz.), Gen. James Doolittle and Gen. Charles Yeager.
