A six-part series entitled “Traveling China’s Ancient Silk Road,” illustrated and narrated by Charles W. Noah and sponsored by the University-Palisades Community Adult School, will be presented beginning Friday at 1 p.m. at the Felica Mahood Multiservice Center, 11338 Santa Monica Blvd., Los Angeles. Delta Air Lines will initiate service at Long Beach Airport beginning Wednesday with two daily round-trip flights between Long Beach and Dallas/Fort Worth.
